Brand Design

A brand is a unique combination of the name, reputation, products, skills, experience and values that an organisation presents to the world at large.

All of these elements assist in the development of the communication tools that convey the qualities of the organisation in an innovative and memorable way.

The brand is the fundamental building block of all communication that an organisation engages in - from the way you treat the building exterior and interior office signage and other environmental graphics, to the way the phones are answered, to the design of a logotype or wordmark and its application across multiple media - including stationery, print collateral, advertising, packaging/point of sale and website design.

Brand Management

Managing a brand is particularly important in order to maintain the integrity of your investment. As the external face to the world, the brand should be protected by strong rules and guidelines.

At AK|Design we create style guidelines to assist in the management of the brand, from a simple outline describing the application of the logotype to a detailed guide that outlines all elements of the identity across a broad range of media.

We can also work with an established style guide to ensure that the brand is maintained across new communication media or assist in reinterpretation or updating of an existing identity program. We can also work with established style guides and successfully continue the brand communication.
